Who is Nate Frazier?

Nate Frazier is a 5-star RB from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. The 5-foot-11-inch, 208-pound speedster chose Georgia over Alabama, Oregon and Texas A&M. Frazier is a two-sport athlete who also runs track and was timed at 10.73 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

What is the impact of the commitment for Georgia?

This commitment is big for Georgia as it now gives the Bulldogs a third running back in the class of 2024. Landing Frazier gives Georgia an amazing 20 ESPN Top 300 commitments and enhances what is already considered the number 1 recruiting class for 2024. The next highest amount of Top 300 commits, according to ESPN, is Florida with 11.

How quickly can Nate Frazier contribute at Georgia?

Frazier should have a chance to compete for playing time during his freshman season. Georgia RB’s Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards are both seniors, which leaves the Bulldogs with only three scholarship backs in 2024. Head coach Kirby Smart needed to restock the running back room and has done just that with Frazier and fellow 4-Star RB’s Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips, Jr.

Scouting Nate Frazier

Frazier is a tenacious runner with blazing speed. He has a tremendous ability to sidestep, even in tight spots. He is a tough runner who does not go down after the first contact. Also is a good receiver out of the backfield and explosive when he hits open space.

Frazier is a 5-Star back according to On3 recruiting. He is ranked as a 4-star back by the On3 Industry Rankings as well as by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN.
