The Tar Heels hit the road to play The Pitt Panthers

The Tar Heels hit the road for the first time this season. They open up conference play against the Pitt Panthers. UNC is looking to go 4-0 for the first time since the 1997 season. The last time UNC, played at Pitt was the 2021 season and Pitt picked up the win in overtime 30-23 in a rainy sloppy mess. This time The Tar Heels are looking for a different outcome.

Key Players UNC Tar Heels:

QB Drake Maye is coming off an amazing game against Minnesota where he threw for over 400 yards.

WR Nate McCollum coming off an amazing performance where he caught 15 balls for 165 yards and 1 touchdown

RB Omarion Hampton keeps putting up good numbers and playing hard

Key Players for Pitt Panthers:

OB Phil Jurkovec must play a much better game in order to be competitive.

RB Rodney Hammond Jr. has to have a great day running the ball

TE Gavin Bartholomew must be involved in the passing game

Prediction:

Historically, Pitt is a very tough place to play and get a win. For, the Panthers to pick up a win, they are going to have to play a near-perfect game to beat The Tar Heels. Based on what I saw in Pitt against WVU, The Tarheels should win this game.

UNC 38 Pitt 14
