Lock 'Em In: NFL Best Bets for Week 10

Updated: Nov 13

Kansas City Chiefs | DeAndre Hopkins

Welcome to College Football Dawgs' Best Bets, where each week I will give you our best bets for college football and the NFL.

In my opinion, this isn’t the best NFL betting card of the season. There isn’t a lot to like. I have a few other games I’m looking at, but I’m not ready to pull the trigger yet. I do have a three team 6-point teaser to start the week off.

A few quick things before we get into the plays for this week. All bets will be to win 1 unit unless otherwise noted. Always practice bankroll management and be sure to shop around for the best lines and prices using apps with live betting. There is no such thing as a lock so be on the lookout for any “Lock of the Century” bettors.

Play 'em or fade 'em. Let's go

NFL Best Bets: 12-8 (+3.39 units)

Best Bet No. 1: Kansas City Chiefs -1.5 + LA Chargers -1 + Philadelphia Eagles -1.5 (+160) | 6-point teaser

There are always paths for upsets in the NFL, but the paths for any of these three teams to be upset are slim in my opinion. Kansas City will play at home against the Denver Broncos. The Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans, while the Eagles will head to Dallas to take on a Dak Prescott-less Cowboys team.

Best Bet No. 2: Indianapolis Colts +4 (-110)

The Indianapolis Colts will host the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. EST on Nov. 10.

This is a sandwich spot for the Bills. Coming off a big win against divisional rival Miami Dolphins and a huge game on deck next week against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Colts are 7-2 against the spread this season and 4-0 at home. I look for the Colts to bounce back after a lack luster Sunday Night performance against the Minnesota Vikings and keep this one close.

Best Bet No. 3: San Francisco 49ers -6.5 (-110)

Coming off a bye week, the San Francisco 49ers will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1 p.m. EST on Nov 10.

The Buccaneers are on a short week after playing at Kansas City on Monday night, while the 49ers are well rested. The 49ers will also get running back Christian McCaffrey back along with wide receiver Jauan Jennings.

The 49ers get to the red zone 4.4 times per game (second most). They only score a touchdown on those red zone visits 48.57 percent of the time (28th). Last year they scored a touchdown on 68 percent of their red zone attempts (first). The Buccaneers allow 3.9 red zone visits per game (second most). They allow a touchdown on 60 percent of those red zone visits (21st). The return of McCaffery and Jennings should help the 49ers capitalize on all those red zone visits.

Be sure to come back to College Football Dawgs each week for more "Lock 'Em In" and every Saturday for my top NFL Daily Fantasy Football plays.
