D’Andre Swift Inks a New Deal

The Chicago Bears struck a deal in free agency. They went out and signed a top priority at running back, D’Andre Swift to a 3-year 24 million dollar deal. D’Andre is coming off a great year in Philadelphia, where he rushed for 1049 yards and 5 touchdowns plus averaged 4.6 yards per carry.

Who is D’Andre Swift?

D’Andre was taken in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions. He played for the Lions from 2020-2022. While he never found his footing in Detroit, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles on draft day in 2023.

At first glance, this is a great deal for the Bears. They have very little risk with a high possibility of landing a true #1 running back. Bears fans should be happy with this pickup.
