The Wolverines are currently undefeated and seeking to three-peat as B1G champions and College Football Playoff attendees.
Welp. Time to pay the piper.
In a twist of events, the University of Michigan announced it has suspended head football coach, Jim Harbaugh, for the remainder of the Wolverines' season. The decision comes on the heels of a detailed investigation into alleged sign-stealing activities by former Michigan staffer, Connor Stallions, who was fired by the school on November 3rd.
Harbaugh was in line to receive an extension with the school, with a salary that would have made him the highest-paid coach in the B1G, but those talks were paused when the sign-stealing investigation warmed up.
It is unclear if Harbaugh will return to the Wolverines at all.
College Football Dawgs will update the story as more details emerge.
