SCOUTING JUSTIN SCOTT
Justin Scott is a massive defensive lineman and also has very good speed for someone with his size! His mobility also goes against the norm for a player of his position. His senior year was only his third year of playing football, so he has room to grow with his knowledge and techniques. He can use his size to bull rush or his speed and lethal initial burst to blow by offensive linemen. He has good length but will need to fine-tune the use of his hands. Scott has very good speed in pursuit as he is able to both chase ball carriers downfield and go from sideline to sideline to make tackles. While he is being recruited as a defensive lineman, Scott is also a very good offensive lineman and can switch positions if needed.
